First Community Bank and Trust Announces Its 10th President

Press Release: Beecher, IL. (January 13, 2026) - At the January meeting of First Community Bank and Trust’s Board of Directors, Cameron E. Ohlendorf was elected as the 10th President of the Bank, which was founded in 1916. Greg M. Ohlendorf, the Bank’s last President & CEO, will remain on as Chief Executive Officer. Greg has served as President for 25 years.

Cameron has been with the Bank since 2009, when he began his career as an intern. In 2012, he graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration and began as a Credit Analyst. He continued his education at Lewis University in Lockport, IL, where he earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA). He is currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Banking program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which he will complete in August. He currently serves as Executive Vice President at the Bank.

Cameron will take over the day-to-day operating duties of the Bank, focusing on commercial lending, asset-liability and liquidity management, and financial management. Greg will remain focused on strategic planning, budgeting, and the Bank’s fintech relationships.

Chairman of the Board, John S. Biesterfeld, said, “It has been a pleasure to watch Cameron grow in his responsibilities at the Bank over the last sixteen years. He has taken on many key projects since joining the Bank and has performed at a very high level. I look forward to working with him for many years to come.”

Greg M. Ohlendorf added, “I’ve seen an amazing transformation of the banking industry over my forty years and am proud of the work our Bank has done staying relevant in the financial service marketplace. I plan to remain very involved with the Bank for some years to come, but it’s time for the next generation to lead it. I am very excited for Cameron and our exceptional team.”

Cameron E. Ohlendorf said, “The last sixteen years have been an incredible education into why community banks are so important to the communities they serve. Community banks are vital to the economy, supporting our local small businesses and providing our consumers with the tools they need to enhance their financial wellbeing. I’ve also genuinely enjoyed working with a number of local groups including the Beecher 4th of July Commission, the Beecher Scholarship Association, and the Manteno Chamber of Commerce. In addition, I’m fortunate to work with an excellent staff and a wonderful group of customers. I’m looking forward to continuing the rewarding work our Bank has done over the last 109 years.”
